The patient complained that his front crown was slightly longer than the adjacent tooth and they did not match.

The crown is a porcelain bonded to metal crown which is strong but not translucent and tends to appear dull and lifeless

The crown was removed and a temporary crown placed. The patient was sent to the laboratory for the technician to take an accurate colour map of his teeth.

A new all porcelain crown was fabricated and cemented a week later.

The result was a more natural aesthetic crown and a happier smiling patient!
