At Bealby and Jones, we strive to provide exceptional dental care to all our patients. To ensure we can offer appointments to everyone who needs them, we require advance notice for cancellations and changes to scheduled appointments.
We do understand that unexpected circumstances arise. This policy is designed to be fair, while ensuring that appointment slots are not wasted when other patients are waiting for care.
If you need to reschedule your appointment or cancel, we kindly ask you to give us as much notice as possible, so we can fill your slot and keep waiting times low.
Private / Practice Plan Patients
- We respectfully ask for 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. An appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be considered as a failed to attend appointment.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or you do not attend your appointment we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the cost of the treatment missed OR retain your deposit.
- We reserve the right to refuse further treatment to patients who fail to attend two consecutive appointments or two late cancellations.
- If you are a Practice Plan member, repeated missed appointments may result in termination of your Practice Plan membership.
- We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable due to illness or emergencies and will of course take account of all individual circumstances.
NHS Patients
- We respectfully ask for 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. An appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be considered as a failed to attend appointment.
- We do not charge NHS patients for a late cancellation or missed appointment. However, we reserve the right to refuse booking further appointments following failure to attend two consecutive appointments or two late cancellations.
